The problem
A Fortune 500 prospect and an early-stage startup don't share the same perception of "extreme." A 50,000 € request feels absurd to the latter, reasonable to the former.

Why this prompt works
- It constrains the output to an actionable format (JSON).
- It makes the multiplier explicit (3×) without rigidly enforcing it.
- It forces justification — an anti-hallucination guardrail.
- It places context at the center of the decision.

How to react if reactance is detected
The LLM switches to a defusing script:

Anti-pattern: over-optimization
Warning: optimizing door-in-the-face without ethical guardrails quickly leads to dark patterns. If every interaction in your funnel is an orchestrated concession, the client relationship collapses.
Simple rule: only one door-in-the-face moment per sales cycle. No more.
